While many are busy preparing for the Festive Season there’s another big day heading our way! That’s right, ICAEW Beal Case Study results day is Friday 11 December.
Of course, we will be refreshing our email and webpages at noon on Friday 11 December along with you.
We are sent a limited public pass/credit list so would love to hear directly from you. Whether you were part of our Complete Case Study Preparation course, made use of our AI Analysis and Mock Exams or simply followed this blog, please do get in touch and let us know how you got on!
We’re here to celebrate with you, and to advise if things have not gone your way - we'll be answering emails over the weekend, so please get in touch.
Results day is almost as emotive as Exam day. As you wait for that email to appear in your inbox there is a good chance you will feel more than a little stressed - we know this from experience.
Tips to stay calm ahead of results day.
We are not going to pretend that results day isn’t a big deal – this is the day you could gain those all-important letters, ACA.
But, for your own wellbeing as we close on what has already been a very challenging year, it is important that you find ways to keep calm. Here are our top tips.
- Stay Active – make time to take a little exercise that elevates your heart rate and, where possible, try to get outside.
- Don’t revisit the exam in your head – if you did as we suggested in our last blog, you should have a ready set of notes on your analysis of how the exam went. Resist the urge to look at these now, hopefully they will be irrelevant, and you can throw them away. If not, they are there and ready for you on 14 December after you have given yourself some breathing space.
- Have a plan – As the saying goes, hope for the best, prepare for the worst. This is not about being pessimistic. This technique actually helps you feel more in control and ready to put in place a plan for 2021.
Good luck, and don't forget to let us know how you got on.
